Privacy Policy

Ludenza lets you view your Steam game library as a backlog and completion tracker. This policy explains what we store and why. We keep it simple because we collect very little.

What we collect

When you sign in through Steam, we receive your public SteamID. We then use the Steam Web API to read public data about your account: your profile name and avatar, your owned games and playtime, your achievement progress, and your friends list. We never see or store your Steam password — sign-in happens entirely on Steam via OpenID.

How we use it

Your data is used only to build and display your own library overview, recommendations, co-op suggestions and recap, and — if you choose to make it public — your shareable profile page. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Where it's stored

We store your synced library in a managed Postgres database and use a Redis service for rate-limiting and queueing. Genres, game modes and ratings come from the public Steam store, and "time to beat" estimates from HowLongToBeat. The app is hosted on Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf.

Your control

You can make your profile private at any time in Settings, which hides your public page. You can also delete your account from Settings — this permanently removes your synced library, snapshots and friends list from Ludenza. Your Steam account is never modified.
